Calvinistic Church in South Africa may Split in two next month November 2023

---The congregation near our Sahmyook University of South Africa, Helderberg College, doleer or cry.

---They were the 76 congregation in the Dutch Reform Calvinistic Church to break away from the General Synod of the Dutch Reform Church.

---Millions of people belong to this church. The Newspaper Volksblad reported on the 11th of October 2023 that there may be a split away in this church.

---One group, the crying ones, are clinging to the Bible and says that one cannot say a gay pastor is fine and one cannot say that all beliefs can take part in ecumenical meetings holding hands.

---They say the Bible does not say that marriages between people of the same gender is fine and that the Bible does not say that people of all religions are going to heaven.

---The General Synod since 2000 accepted both. So churches broke away after churchboards rejected the decisions.

---The upcoming General Synod in two weeks from now, is the final one. If the General Synod does not listen, the congregations will separate.

---The fight is about Bible against Contemporary Culture. What is the fallacy?

---Gay pastors are not new. It was already in Ahab and Jezebel’s palace with those hundreds of Baal priests who were gay or gula priests. The gula was a transvestite that acted as a woman. That is what the cuneiform texts reads.

---So is it new or progressive or contemporary? No. It is a bouncing back of an old sin.

---According to USA newspapers, this phenomenon of breaking away from Culture to Bible orientation is also in the Methodist and other churches in the USA.

---They are begging pastors to teach them the correct Bible truths and not these nonsense.

---It is a sign of the times and that time is Endtime. Correct? Pray for the truthful ones.

---Modern research found “Data showed that governance and doctrinal issues were the primary reasons for congregations to split apart. Members who remained at the parent congregation were more likely to perceive the conflict as authority-based, while those who left to form the breakaway were more likely to perceive the conflict as doctrinally-based. In the period immediately following the split, the parent congregations continued to experience some difficulties, but the breakaways prospered.”

Short Note:

---This is an outdated article considering the issue of Woman Ordination in those days.

---Now it has developed on the basis of this issue into the next issue of gender same weddings and gay pastors in the ministry and further to the issue of Ecumenical view of seeing all religions as equal on their way to heaven.

---The people who want to stay with the General Synod will see it as an issue of resisting the Establishment and Authority of the Church.

---The others who are breaking away will see it as problems in doctrines.

---They will say the church has become heretical.

---Ellen White predicted that it is going to happen.

Ellen White Great Controversy 463-464

“But where, in the popular churches of today, is the spirit of consecration to God? The converts do not renounce their pride and love of the world. They are no more willing to deny self, to take up the cross, and follow the meek and lowly Jesus, than before their conversion. Religion has become the sport of infidels and skeptics because so many who bear its name are ignorant of its principles. The power of godliness has well-nigh departed from many of the churches. Picnics, church theatricals, [464] church fairs, fine houses, personal display, have banished thoughts of God. Lands and goods and worldly occupations engross the mind, and things of eternal interest receive hardly a passing notice.

Notwithstanding the widespread declension of faith and piety, there are true followers of Christ in these churches. Before the final visitation of God's judgments upon the earth there will be among the people of the Lord such a revival of primitive godliness as has not been witnessed since apostolic times. The Spirit and power of God will be poured out upon His children. At that time many will separate themselves from those churches in which the love of this world has supplanted love for God and His word. Many, both of ministers and people, will gladly accept those great truths which God has caused to be proclaimed at this time to prepare a people for the Lord's second coming.”

Comment: It is here. This year. Correct? What should we do? Prepare to meet your Lord. When? Now. Call a pastor of the Adventist Church in your town now without any delay. Is your phone out?

How did Jezebel and Ahab succeed in getting Baal priests instated in Yahwism?

Phase 1:

---Lecture everyone on the principles of equality and inclusion.

---Tell them not to be critical over the other since it is unkind and rude.

---Tell them to embrace or include more of them in their private circles.

---Avoid certain terms that may separate people.

---Be careful how you express yourself.

---If you feel different, then do not say it. Rather be quiet about it.

Phase 2:

---Jezebel is ordained as a High Priestess of Baal.

---Gay Baal Priests wanted to join Yahwism.

---Jezebel accepted them with open arms at the palace.

---She gave them food every day at the palace. Hundreds of them.

Phase 3:

---Elijah split from them and refused to give up the Word of God as guide.

---Elijah was not careful with his lingua or expressions speaking about them.

---When they met Elijah at the palace they asked: Are you the troublemaker of Israel?

---Was he?

---What about the Korean Society of Adventists that is calling woman a pastor?

---Is it biblical?

---Paul says no in 1 Timothy 3:2.

---What is the principle? A woman cannot be a pastor or an elder says Paul but she can preach or teach or pray or provide clothes and food for the church or serve as deaconesses for various task and be a Bible Instructors.

---But is the prophets of the Old Testament then not pastors? No. The pastors serve the people as sheep and he is the shepherd.

---The prophets preach and teach. That is why Ellen White is not called pastor Ellen White. But she preached and can teach.

---Question: Should we split the content of Ellen White into devotional homiletical ideas as opposed to academic exegetical ideas by professors?

---Answer: Scholars on Johannes Oecolampadius 1523-1530 said that we should not do that. They said that his sermons and his commentaries should be treated the same. There is a continuation of his thought in both. Even though he preached, it is still exegetical. Even though he is exegetical, there is still preaching in it.
