How does one read terms like "city", "Zion", "Jerusalem", "holy mountain", "Temple", "Sanctuary" in the Psalms? 1. Let the Bible and Holy Spirit as Editor tell you about it. 2. The Spirit asks us to read 2 texts which become our glasses through which we look at the Psalms. 3. Isaiah, the evangelist prophet in Isaiah 14:12-14. 4. Where is the dwelling place, Throne, of God in the verses? 5. Did Satan want to sit in God's temple in earthly Jerusalem? 6. What about Mount Moriah or Sinai, or Horeb, or David's Mount Zion? 7. Paul in Hebrews 11:10, 16. 8. Beware of the modern Bible expositors who want to pack everything into current geographical Israel, not only for the Psalms, but also the Prophets. 9. The glasses of our Editor are unequivocally important. 10. David was not only literally on his own and the Spirit stretched it further figuratively to later times. 11. The Spirit as Editor of the entire Word of God rather gave David prophetic glimpses of what Moses, Joseph, Sameul and other prophets had said before, and then packed it in the bag for later generations. Does that make sense? Then the Sabbath School lesson this week will give a lot of homework but also explain many things in harmony with the Editor, the Spirit of God. Not true?

Note: If you teach this week, and apply the principle, do not pass on criticism to the congregation because they must remain encouraged to study the lessons. Just give them the glasses to help them. Understand?
