Felice Israel published 36 seals in 1987 which he allocated as Moabite seals (Felice Israel, "Studi Moabiti I: Rassegna di epigrafia Moabite e I sigilli," in Atti della 4a giornata di Studi Camito-Semitici e Indeuropei, Bergamo, Instituto Universitario, 29 Novembre 1985, eds. Giuliano Bernini and Vermondo Brugnatelli [Rome: Edizioni Unicopli, 1987]).

After the investigation of these seals, it became clear to me that they are not all Moabite but belong in various different locations and categories of adjacent dialects and influences. Here are a diagrammatic summary of the results of my investigation in 1996.
